MY TEAM IS COMPOSED OF ALL RAGNAR NEWBIES, WE NOTICED IN THE RACE BIBLE THAT ALTHOUGH 2 VEHICLES ARE RECOMMENDED, 1 VAN CAN BE USED. WE ARE WEIGHING OUR OPTIONS OF 1 (15 PASSENGER VAN) OR 2 MINI VANS, WE HAVE 12 TEAM MEMBERS, SO NOT SURE THERE WILL BE ALOT OF ROOM TO STRETCH OUT EITHER WAY, WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

I recommed 2 vans. 12 people in a van is ALOT of personalities to deal with, in addtion to you will be limited on "lag time." The one van will always have to be trailing the runner. With 2 Vans, you will have time for one to go ahead to the next major exchange where the 6 "off" runners can stretch out, eat, rest... MAYBE get a few hours of sleep. Plus, I think it's easier to manage 6 bathroom breaks, requests for water, etc.

I created a team last year for Ragnar TN and had a blast, but being from TN made the planning and organizing very easy. FL Keys will be my first Radnar destination race.

Have you ran the Ragnar FL Keys? If so, what was your greatest challenge? Any helpful ideas for planning a team so far away are welcomed.

Definitely get 2 vans. It is nice to be able to take a real rest while one van is active. Also, luggage and food for 12 people can take up a lot of space. Splurge and enjoy the extra room.
